The website available at https://fundacjaslawistyczna.pl/ is the official website of The Slavic Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the TSF website). Data administration: The Slavic Foundation.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Various forms are available on the TSF website, some of which are launched occasionally. Forms are used, e.g., to submit projects. In any case, the TSF website registers the IP number of the person completing the form and requires an email address. Some forms require additionally the first and last name and allow entering other personal data (e.g., address of residence).
If you have an account and log into the TSF website, the website will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close the browser.
When you log in, the website will also set up several cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for 2 days and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, the login details will persist for 2 weeks. The login cookies will be removed upon logging out.
Several other cookies may be installed on your device, which are associated with storing the language settings of the TSF website and browsing the content. These cookies do not contain personal data.
Embedded content from other websites
The TSF website may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if you visited the other website.
IP addresses are used by Google Analytics, but the TSF website instructs this service to mask IPs (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2905384?hl=en).
For security and auditing purposes, a record of all your logged-in actions and changes within the TSF website dashboard will be recorded in audit/security logs. The logs also include the IP address from which you accessed the TSF website.
Who we share your data with
Your data collected when filling out forms is not shared outside. However, the Foundation may share some data with other entities, e.g., to perform statutory tasks, about which you will be informed.
How long we retain your data
If you have registered on the TSF website, personal information attached to the profile is stored indefinitely. Additional personal data being provided along with other forms are kept for the time necessary to perform statutory tasks or conduct administrative activities. You can inspect, correct, or delete your personal information after logging in (not counting the username, which cannot be changed), as well as by contacting the TSF website administrator.
Audit/security logs are kept for up to 12 months.
How we protect your data and what data breach procedures we have in place
The TSF website uses SSL/HTTPS. This encrypts user communication with the server to ensure that all data remain private and integral.
In case of a data breach, administrator will inform affected users about unauthorized use of their personal data.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on the TSF website, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided us with (e-mail: email@example.com). You can also request that we erase the personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, security purposes or to perform statutory tasks.
We reserve the right to make changes to this policy. Major changes will be described accordingly.
